Hi, my name is Vincent Buyssens and I’m a creative digital strategist from Antwerp, Belgium who has spent most of his life in virtual worlds and among online communities.
Through my digital consultancy agency Voidwalker I help you & your brand navigate along the communities, content and currencies that make up this Internet Society of ours.
The Metaverse may be the next frontier, but nobody knows what comes next.
Using my expertise in creative digital strategy, passion for community building, and love for internet culture, I create roadmaps for people and brands who seek to travel through this void and beyond.
“Respect the culture” is my core principle. To help you better understand the nuances and depths of the subcultures and trends you want engage with, I start each roadmap with a deep exploration along the different subcultures and worlds they inhabit.
I’m not a gatekeeper, I’m just a guy who’s been immersed in online communities for over a decade, and deeply respects them. This understanding and my knowledge of the tools they use, enables me to bring you into orbit around the right communities so you can connect & collaborate with them.
Tapping into my experience building creative digital strategies and collaborating with content creators, I look for the right alignment to reveal the roadmap that will show the best pathways through the void.
The future and that of the internet belongs to everyone, not just the Silicon Valley elite.
My mission is to help individuals, organizations and brands claim their rightful place in it.
Are you ready to find yours?
When my approach is applied at the right moment, a star alignment can happen.
While genuine star alignment is serendipity that cannot be forced, it can be provoked by using the right levers and empowering the right people at the right moment.
This is how I’ve applied this philosophy to my project
I choose a black hole as main leitmotif for Voidwalker because it represents the ultimate manifestation of ‘the unknown’, and ties in naturally with the cosmic exploration I use as the analogy for my storytelling.
The logo and the rest of the visual identity was crafted by my friend and illustrator Margo De Weerdt who drew and painted every element by hand.
A beautiful example of how digital and physical can compliment each other. I strive for authenticity and craftmanship, and Margo brought these elements beautifully together.
